Accountancy research

Accountancy practice is a complex, yet necessary part of financial reporting for business and government. The Group pursues an interdisciplinary approach to research in the interface between accounting and management, whilst also providing knowledge and insight in corporate reporting and disclosure.

Finance research

Finance research is undertaken in conjuction with the Centre for Finance & Investment (CFI), which works closely with the Economics Research Group and collaborates with the financial services industry and Heriot-Watt University's School of Mathematical & Computer Sciences.
