About the Handbooks

It is the responsibility of all our students to make sure they familiarise themselves with the SML Postgraduate Programme Handbook for their programme.

 

Each Handbook is made up of two parts;

• Part A is programme specific and includes details about courses, assessments, academic staff and resources for your programme of study.
• Part B of the Handbook contains general information about Heriot-Watt, including links to useful services such as the Students' Union, the International Student Advisors' Office and the Library. All Programme Handbooks also include the Student Guide to Plagiarism, which all SML students are required to read and adhere to.

SML Postgraduate Programme Handbooks are there to help you stay informed and make the most of your time studying here at Heriot-Watt University. The most up-to-date version of the Handbook will always be published here and students are advised to check this site for updates at least once a semester.
