CTISS

Centre for Translation and Interpreting Studies in Scotland

The aims of the Centre for Translation and Interpreting Studies in Scotland (CTISS) include investigation of the nature of the process of translating, dissemination of research and the promotion of awareness of issues relating to the profession and, especially, to the training of interpreters and translators. It is one of only four UK institutions that belong to CIUTI (Conférence Internationale d'Instituts Universitaires de Traducteurs et Interprètes).
