MSc Strategic Project Management

Our MSc in Strategic Project Management responds to the strong and consistent growth in demand for managers and leaders with specific project management skills that enable organisations to deliver key business objectives.

The role played by project management has increased significantly in recent years, with both the commercial and public sector adopting project management as a way to implement strategic objectives and manage operations. The effectiveness with which projects are planned and managed has a major impact on business competitiveness and the business environment.

Project managers require leadership and team development competencies to manage complex organisational and interpersonal relationships. Strategic project management requires all these skills and the ability to select and prioritise projects and resources across an organisation.

Our Strategic Project Management programme focuses on the strategic implementation of projects including fundamentals such as Portfolio Management, Programme Management, and Strategic Change. It also covers the operational aspects of Project Management and will develop in you the project manager competencies required to manage projects successfully, as well as direct and contribute to organisational goals and objectives.
