Executive MSc Strategic Project Management

Executive MSc Strategic Project Management

Our Executive MSc Strategic Project Management differentiates itself from other project management courses by providing greater emphasis on strategy, leadership and business transformation through the management of projects, programmes and portfolios.

This unique programme responds to the strong and consistent international growth in demand for project management knowledge that can drive efficiency in core business activities, facilitate strategic change and realise organisational competitive strategies.

Participants on the programme will make significant contribution to their organisation through innovation, problem solving and creative solutions. More significantly, participants are introduced to emerging and future developments in the field of project management, thus providing themselves and their organisation with a distinct competitive advantage.

Accredited by the Association for Project Management (APM), all courses are delivered by leading, senior academics in their field of knowledge.

The Executive MSc Strategic Project Management is a flexible three-year, part-time programme with registration in January and September each year.

In years one and two, participants can study up to four courses per year. Each course is designed to be delivered over an intense 4-day residential session, normally running Thursday-Sunday. In year three, participants develop grounding in research methods before embarking on their individual, company-based Business Research Project, which could involve recommendations and implementation of value-added activities within the participants own organisation

Courses are assessed through a combination of examinations and work-based assignments, which involve applying lessons learnt from the programme within the participant's own organisation
